One of my absolute favourite things to do is walk-talk-explore-shoot. Having great conversation with camera in hand with the common interest of making great photos is not only time well spent but times you’ll never forget.
Let me take you around to some of my favourite spots or you can send me some details on what you’re looking for and I can put together an itinerary that I’m absolutely confident you’re going to love. You can probably tell from my work I’m not interested in the typical tourist spots… there are plenty of photographers you can book for that. But if you like my style and want to dig deeper into the art of photography and plenty of other more random topics (!) then I encourage you to book some time with me. If you’re a complete beginner shooting with your phone I love to teach! And if you’re a seasoned photographer that’s great too, we’ll have lots to discuss and learn.

Private
Book time with me one one one and get me all to yourself! With my undivided and personalized attention you'll be sure to come out of our time together with a better understanding of Tokyo including where and what to shoot but more importantly how to get the most out of your camera. We're going to discuss basic topics like settings, lenses and other gear including LED's, prisms, etc. We'll also cover more advanced topics including street shooting philosophies, what to look for, framing and how to use the things in your environment to take your photos from ordinary to real art you can be proud of.
Max Size: 1 person
Cost: ¥9,000 / per hour (minimum 2 hours)
Locations: Shimbashi/Yurakcho, Shibuya and Shinjuku primarily but other areas of Tokyo as well
Language: English, Japanese (intermediate)
Required Gear:
Minimum: a smartphone camera with manual settings app
Preferred: DSLR or mirrorless camera capable of manual modes
Group
Book time with me in a group of 2 or more (up to 6) and you'll be sure to come out of our time together with a better understanding of Tokyo including where and what to shoot but more importantly how to get the most out of your camera. We're going to discuss basic topics like settings, lenses and other gear including LED's, prisms, etc. We'll also cover more advanced topics including street shooting philosophies, what to look for, framing and how to use the things in your environment to take your photos from ordinary to real art you can be proud of.
